Omar Salas (1981, Venezuela) grew up between three cities, topographically of very different spirits: Valle de la Pascua, Caracas, and Los Teques. He also traveled a lot in his country, like a silent co-pilot always caught by the landscape. In his authorial work, he addresses the poetics of suspense from a documentary approach and his narrative motive resembles the journey. He seeks to show the concern for change, memory, and loneliness that he perceives in the city as a place of constant transit. Salas is a lonely nomad who is attentive to that moment where the image is revealed.
